SANTA’S SAFE SELFIES INSIDE A SNOWGLOBE

Dateline: Dallas, Texas, Santa Claus, November-December, 2020

Donder’s story of the Snowglobe: “We were flying somewhere over Pennsylvania in 1997 and I saw a billboard that said “Think Globally.” (There was more underneath those words, but they were buried in snow.) So when this Wye Too-kay thing happened, I asked Santa if it would help to think Globally in the snow, he thanked me and said, “Maybe next time.” I suggested we sit in the snow and think about globes when the Mayan calendar ran out of pages, and Santa said, “That’s certainly an idea.” I suggested we pack globes full of snow when the Blue Bell Ice Cream Crisis was going on, and he said, “No, not yet.” But when this Corona thing happened and I said, “We should think snow-globally, Santa!” he brightened up and said it was a great idea. It just goes to show that any idea can be a good one if you try enough times.”

Mission Statement:
There is true Christmas magic and it doesn’t reside in Santa, but in the child.  Santa works to make this evident through his visits.  He intends to:
Model and notice a warm, loving, compassionate, generous life.
Reveal glimpses of life's transcendent mystery and  joy.
Show that the true, good and beautiful still exist.
